I finished Queer as Folk. I must admit to being rather unimpressed with the series finale. It just...kind of let me down. Granted, I watched the entire show in the span of like a week, but I was underwhelmed. Oh well, can't please everyone.

I guess I wanted it to wow me or make me feel like...I don't know. I hate that I feel disappointed right now. Finishing the series should have been a good thing, now I kind of wish I'd stopped watching a while ago and not gone through to the end.

It's sad the ad was pulled just because of the homosexuality in it. I thought it was well done and portrayed gay people as it should be; normal people who have families and can raise families and live regular lives like anyone else.

I just had a severe "What the fuck?!" moment. I started watching 4.12 of Queer as Folk and I was like "Ooh, Ben speaks French - that's hot." Then the scene kept going and Michael started talking and I was like, "Wait, Michael speaks French? Motherfucker, does everybody speak French? Is this scene a dream sequence?..." - then I realized it's the French-dubbed version of the episode. Took me long enough, d'you think?

Me = total fucking moron *facepalm*

Now I must go find an English version of the episode. I had to watch bits and pieces of 4.10 since the site I watch them on didn't have it and YouTube apparently only had the bits with Justin and Brian - granted, those are the most interesting bits *wink*, but it would have been nice to see what else happened. I read a summary of the episode, though, so I don't think I missed anything. :)

I was going to watch "All She Wants for Christmas" on Lifetime earlier because 1) Nelson Wong is in it and 2) Ron Oliver directed it. Unfortunately, my memory sucks and I forgot all about it until it went off. *sadface* I'm surprisingly disappointed - I was looking forward to the shopping cart musical number. Ah well, maybe they'll play it again during their little Christmas in July thing. TV Guide only shows listings for the next two weeks, so you never know...

My "Queer as Folk" marathon continues. At this rate, I'll finish the show in record time. Yay. ;)
